Lindsey Green, DVM
Dr. Lindsey Green always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She grew up on a small beef farm in the town of Fredon, New Jersey. During her childhood, she enjoyed being part of a community, and was inspired by the role that veterinarians played in keeping animals safe and healthy. After high school, she pursued a degree in animal science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she learned about production animals including cattle and small ruminants. She graduated in in 2018, and earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science. She then went on to graduate from veterinary school from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
While in veterinary school, she had interests in equine medicine, internal medicine, and clinical pathology. She was a member of the production medicine club and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. She also enjoyed working with dogs and cats during veterinary school, and is eager to work with a wide array of species with the Catskill Veterinary Services.
In her free time, Dr. Lindsey enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. She has one mixed breed dog named Riley, who she adopted after her first year of veterinary school.
